BODYSTYLER „Your Boots“ Bodystyler? Da gab es doch… da gibt es doch wieder…? Ja, bei diesem Namen klingelt es ganz gewaltig, vor allem zuckt es unvermittelt im Zwerchfell! Doch im Gegensatz zur kürzlich wieder geborenen Spaßpackung im minimierten Zeitschriftenformat meinen es die musizierenden Namensvetter verdammt ernst. Mit „Your Boots“ wird aufgeräumt und abgerechnet. Aufgeräumt mit alten Assoziationen, bunten Theorien und falschen Erwartungen. Abgerechnet mit Kommerzialisierung, Opportunismus und Heuchelei. Bodystyler ist ein Statement, ein Klang gewordenes Lebensgefühl, ohne zusätzlichen Ballast, ohne unnützes Beiwerk. Bodystyler ist hart, elektronisch, erfrischend aufrichtig und direkt: Was das in Anhalt verwurzelte Duo möchte, nimmt es sich. Was es zu verkünden hat, wird mit Nachdruck in die Welt geschrien. Es versucht gar nicht erst, die Einflüsse zu verbergen. Zitate sind Stilmittel und eine tiefe Verbeugung vor 30 Jahren EBM-Historie. Auf breiten Sohlen bahnt sich Bodystyler den Weg aus dem Zentrum der Szene, stoppt am rechten Fleck und marschiert dorthin zurück, wo alles seinen Anfang nahm. Bodystyler ist 15 Mal Arbeit, Schweiß, Überzeugung, Arroganz und Provokation, aber auch ein verlässlicher Freund in der Not. Bodystyler ist EBM. Punkt!
