Dominic Sahs ist ein Mann, der keine Kompromisse kennt: Als ein Teil der Altmark-Electros konnte er seine musikalischen Visionen nicht vollständig umsetzen, also tobte er sich mit Judge:Dred zunächst auf Solopfaden aus und verließ sein ehemaliges Projekt schließlich ganz. Persönliche Gründe machten für ihn ein Leben in der alten Heimat unmöglich, also zog er nach Schweden und begann noch einmal von vorn. Als ihm der Name Judge:Dred nicht mehr in den Kram passte, wurden kurzerhand The Blister Exists aus der Taufe gehoben und die energische Schwedin Joanna R., die zuvor schon als Live-Drummerin und Background-Sängerin durchschlagende Qualitäten bewies, fest ins Boot geholt. Musikalisch macht Sahs erst recht keine Gefangenen und knallt für das Debütalbum „Raw“ noch eine doppelte Ladung Aggression zusätzlich auf den Tisch. Die gnadenlose Produktion aus den schwedischen Studios machte „Raw“ schließlich zu weit mehr als der einfachen Aneinanderreihung von 15 EBM-Tracks. Tiefe Shout-Vocals und rustikale Drums werden von alles vernichtenden Stakkato-Sequenzern immer und immer wieder nach vorne getrieben, ruhige Momente sucht man vergebens und weil das offenbar noch immer nicht ausreichte, wurde mit Johan Damm (Menticide, Ex-Dupont) das markanteste Gröl-Organ der Szene für einen Gasteinsatz rekrutiert! „Raw“ ist ultimative electro-akustische Gewalt, das längst überfällige Surrogat für Freunde von Schweden-EBM allgemein und wegen seiner vielen Parallelen für Fans von Pouppée Fabrikk im Speziellen. Personal reasons made it impossible for him to life in his old home, so he moved to Sweden and started all over again. When he had enough of the name Judge:Dred, he spontaneously launched The Blister Exists and got the energetic Swede Joanna R. on board, who had already been proving her striking qualities as a live drummer before and background vocalist. Sahs music takes no prisoners. With his debut album “Raw” he even throws a double load of extra aggression on the table. Having been produced in the Swedish studios, the merciless album “Raw” is finally more than just a simple collection of 15 EBM tracks. Again and again, deep shout vocals and crude drums are being pushed ahead by all-destroying staccato sequencers.
